Engagement Manager

As an Engagement Manager, you will work in an account management and client facing role that combines strategic thinking, planning, selling, communication, collaboration, and other relationship management skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage to and achieve individual sales quota
  • Play key role in new business development efforts through prospecting, relationships with partners, and fielding new leads or referrals to Liquid
  • Help define recommended approach, and execution of strategy and strategic planning projects for key clients
  • Work with core internal teams to find ways of being proactive in presenting new ideas and creating opportunities for additional value-add client work
  • Lead on development of proposals, pitches, and strategic thought capital and collaborate with Engagement Director
  • Stay current on digital trends, best practices, and digital experiences with an eye towards agency’s client base/portfolio
  • Work closely with Liquid’s marketing team to share ideas on potential marketing content that aligns to engagement efforts and observed client/market trends.

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years’ experience in a client services organization, preferably on projects with top tier consulting firms or digital agencies (including digital marketing, web development, creative, brand, and strategic consulting projects).
  • Professional and confident presentation skills
  • Highly networked
  • An ability to manage long-term client engagements with multiple project tracks and teams
  • Ability to focus on goals and solutions both large and small
  • Subject matter expertise in Liquid’s services and how our work gets done
  • An ability to meet the client where they want to foster effective relationship building
