Join us in our Third Annual Food Drive as we collect non-perishable food and personal care items in support of Second Harvest Food Bank.
From February 1st through 28th, we’re collecting non-perishable foods and personal care items to benefit residents of the Lehigh Valley & Northeast Pennsylvania that could use a helping hand. Second Harvest’s busiest months for food donations are November and December, but they struggle to meet their collection needs the rest of the year. We invite you to help us make an impact by dropping off a donation at Liquid HQ.
Not sure what to bring? Here’s Second Harvest’s most needed items list:
- Whole Grain Pasta and Rice
- Peanut Butter
- Canned Fruits & Veggies
- Canned Meat
- Canned Beans & Soup
- Hygiene Items
- Household Items
- Kid Friendly
- Fruit Cups
- Granola Bars
- Juice Boxes
- Tuna Packs
They prefer pop top cans and microwavable cups when possible, as well as low sodium, low trans fat and no sugar added options. No glass, please.
We are also able to accept financial donations during our drive with every penny going straight to Second Harvest. Every $1 donated allows Second Harvest to distribute 6 meals. Cash or checks made out to Second Harvest Food Bank will be accepted. Receipts for tax purposes can be provided.
If you have any questions about the food drive, contact me – Marketing & PR Manager Laura Pruitt – by phone (484-891-5130) or email.
